High quality participation is one of the key methods which ensures children and young people are listened to and involved - Radical’s commitment to participation and involvement is central to the way we work.

 

Our commitment to the philosophies which underpin meaningful participation, places us firmly within Children’s Rights (we endorse the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, The Children’s Act). We promote the European Human Rights Convention and The UK Human Rights Act,

The staff involve us in their staff meetings from time to time so we have a chance to get our point across, as well as theirs, before a decision is made. I am looking forward to help deliver training to staff and young people on Participation and Involvement.
